One day, a Clerk of a Course spotted a trainer giving something to a equine just before a begin of a race.
He went over as well as said, "Doping?"
The trainer said, "Indeed not, Sor.
'Tis just lump sugar. Look, I'll take a bit meself.. see?"
The Clerk of a Course said,
"Sorry, but you have to be careful. As a matter of fact, I like a bit of sugarine meself."
So a trainer gave him a piece.
When a Clerk of a Course disappeared, a trainer gave his manoeuvre his final minute instructions,
"Don't forget a drill.
Hold him in 'til a final 4 furlongs.
Don't worry if anything passes ye, it'll be me or a Clerk of a Course!"
